CJ 222 Professional Development
Focuses on the extensive application, testing and hiring process in criminal justice. Addresses the minimum standards for being a law enforcement officer in Washington State, instruction on how to prepare and submit an application and résumé, how to prepare and present yourself in the Oral Board interview, what to expect during the pre-employment and background investigation as well as the polygraph and psychological exam. Students will participate in many of these phases to develop a stronger skill set and understanding of this process.
