CMST& 240 Intercultural Communication
Introduction to communication between people from different cultures. Focuses on application of research and theory in intercultural communication. Explains the roles of verbal and nonverbal codes, cultural value patterns, identities, and belief systems. Describes obstacles to effective intercultural communication and develops skills to overcome them. Increase effective communication and appreciation for different cultures (including their own) and diversity in the human experience.
