ECON& 202 Macro Economics

Study of national economy: What determines national income level, economic growth and prosperity? What are the effects of government fiscal and monetary policies to the economy? Student examines issues regarding inflation, unemployment, government spending, taxation, money supply and impact of globalization. Various theories are put forth to explain business cycles in the U.S. and world economy. Prepares students for upper-division macro-economic courses. ECON 101 may be substituted for ECON& 202 in professional/technical business degree programs.
