Globalization and diversity of the major geographical regions of the world. A study of cultural coherence and diversity, population and settlement, geopolitical framework, environmental geography, and economic and social development of each region. Major regions of study include former Soviet Union, Europe, Asia (east, southeast, south and southwest), Africa, North and South America.
