HUM 200 Intro Women/Gender/Sexuality

Interdisciplinary introduction to the study of women, gender, and sexuality approaches from the perspective of both the social sciences and humanities. Promotes critical thinking on the issues of gender, queer, and women¿s rights, and explores the intersectionality of gender with various categories such as race, class, sexuality, and (dis)ability in understanding the lives and struggles of marginalized groups globally. Topics include gender, intersectionality, power, privilege, sexuality and health, family life and work, economics, religion, globalization, and social change.
