IMMA 222 Mtrls, Process, and References

Apprentices will begin by learning about material composition and characteristics of the five basic metals: steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and brass (copper). This course will then explore manufacturing processes used to manipulate metals, such as machining, casting, and forging, as well as processes that change their chemical composition, including heat treatment.
