Nursing - Associate in Nursing DTA (MRP)

Overview

Nursing AAS-DTA/MRP (RENDTAA) Active: Sp 2022

The Associate in Nursing DTA (MRP) prepares students interested in attending one of Washington’s universities to complete an RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This degree includes general education requirements and prepares a student for licensure as a registered nurse through Washington state.

Students completing this degree should note that certain universities and colleges may have additional requirements for admission to the institution that are not prerequisites specifically identified in the DTA requirements. Some schools may also have higher minimum GPA requirements or require a specific minimum GPA in specific courses or sets of courses. Students should contact their intended transfer institution early to learn about any unique requirements.

These courses are required for the Nursing AAS-DTA/MRP. There are other courses that can be completed at EvCC that will earn a non-specific AAS-DTA degree. To know where all of your completed courses align to the basic AAS-DTA degree, you should also keep an updated Associate in Arts and Sciences - Direct Transfer Agreement Degree plan, as well as work closely with your Academic Advisor.

Note: To work as a Registered Nurse, students must possess a Washington State Nursing license. This license is granted to students who complete the nursing program and pass the NCLEX exam.
