WELD 290 Adv Matl Cutting/Processing
Practical application of advanced cutting and processing techniques for material preparation. Enables the student to describe the strengths, weaknesses, and uses of each cutting process presented. Practical performance will be evaluated for oxyfuel, bandsaw, portable bandsaw, miter saw, plasma cutting, lathes and/or waterjet cutting. Blueprints, welding procedures, and other documents will be used to identify the necessary dimensions and requirements for material preparation.
