Student Government
Students are encouraged to become involved with and have a voice in the governance and leadership at EvCC. Through participation in student government, students have the opportunity to express their views on issues affecting students at EvCC as well as statewide legislative topics. The ASB government is also responsible for approving the S&A Fee, E-Tech, Student Campus Enhancement, and Green Fee budgets.
The ASB Executive Council and the ASB Student Senate provide students with learning experiences that will assist them in developing and strengthening leadership skills, while representing and assisting their fellow EvCC students. Learn more at EverettCC.edu/ASB.
Trojan Activities Board
The Trojan Activities Board, otherwise known as TAB, is a team of students who coordinate a series of events designed for EvCC students to connect, have fun and engage outside of the classroom. Students can expect free event opportunities such as, but not limited to: live concerts, comedians, film showings and make-and-take events. TAB also plans educational events focusing on topics such as mental health, healthy relationships, and programs related to various awareness months. Additionally, students can expect large interactive events such as the annual Student LIFE Kick-Off, Quarterly Clubfests and Spring Fling! There is a lot to do at EvCC, and we hope to see you and a future TAB event!
Student Ambassador Program
The Student LIFE Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Everett Community College. Student LIFE Ambassadors work at the Student LIFE front desk, the EvCC Food Pantry, provide campus tours, and perform duties at various Student LIFE and EvCC events.
EvCC Food Pantry
The EvCC Food Pantry is a free service available to EvCC students and employees experiencing food insecurity. The EvCC Food Pantry provides non-perishable food, frozen food, hygiene items, baby basics, and pet food. Many college students experience food insecurity, and studies have shown that students with food insecurities have lower completion rates in obtaining academic certificates and degrees. The Food Pantry is currently located in WHI 290, but will be moving to the 2nd story of the Parks Student Union this year.
For more information, including operating hours, please visit EverettCC.edu/FoodPantry.
Student Clubs/Organizations
Student clubs/organizations offer opportunities to meet new friends, explore special interests, support co-curricular studies, and make contributions to campus life.
EvCC has over 20 clubs! Students are free to organize and join associations to promote their special interests.
More information on joining or starting a club can be found at EverettCC.edu/Clubs or the Student LIFE office, Parks 209.

Co-Curricular and College-Related Programs
Student LIFE provides opportunities to further enhance and expand upon the learning that occurs in the classroom with activities and programs outside the classroom. Student activity fees help to support the costs of these activities and programs.
The Associated Students, through the S&A Fees budget, provide funding to support a variety of programs at EvCC such as the Diversity & Equity Center, the Early Learning Center (childcare), Tutoring Center, BRIDGES Leadership Academy, The Clipper (student newspaper), Vibrations (student art magazine), and the Russell Day Gallery. These fees also fully support Athletics and Intramural sports at EvCC. Student LIFE also plans the annual commencement celebration.
The Associated Students also manage and approve the projects provided by two student fees; Student Technology Fee (E-Tech) and the Student Campus Enhancement Fee. E-Tech supports student technology enhancement on campus, which includes items such as the funding of a computer replacement cycle for open computer labs on campus and reduced computer lab fees. The Student Campus Enhancement Fee supports the creation and improvement of non-instructional spaces for students.
Associated Student Body Documents
There are several documents that guide the organization and functioning of the Associated Student Body (ASB) such as the ASB Constitution and by-laws, S&A Fees Financial Code & Budget, E-Tech Financial Code & Budget, and the Trojan Activities Board by-laws.
Copies of these documents can be obtained at EverettCC.edu/LIFE and the Student LIFE office located in the Parks Student Union, Room 209.
Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
The Everett Community College Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook contains information about student rights and responsibilities.
The handbook provides a detailed description of rights and responsibilities as they pertain to the students, the college, and the community, as well as the Student Code of Conduct, procedures for disciplinary actions, procedures to ensure student rights and due process, and the jurisdiction of college personnel.
The handbook is available online at EverettCC.edu/StudentHandbook.
