ART 215 Life Drawing I
Course sequence in the representation of the human figure through drawing from live models. Study of human anatomy as it applies to art, involving the proportions of the figure, use of line and value, negative space, foreshortening and perspectivethrough instructor-guided exercises. Investigation of the role of the figure in art and culture throughout history. ART 110 recommended.
