ART 241 Printmaking II

Intermediate course focused on the continued development of skills, principles, techniques and methods of printmaking. Applying the vocabulary of printmaking to the press, inks, paper treatment, and basic skills in the entire print process using ecologically safe materials. Students incorporate color into the monotype, intaglio, relief, and collagraph processes. Continued focus on the development of printmaking skills with emphasis on principles and elements of art as they apply to printmaking.
