Survey of dominant styles and movements of art in Europe and America from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Social, religious, political and philosophical changes and their connection with the role and creations of the artist. Includes Renaissance and Baroque periods. Analysis of imagery and practice of historical research. Recommend previous enrollment in ART 124. Sequential order preferred.
